Thanks for all the answers
Have a great dayI most cherish, my car. It gives me the ability to get to and from work which in turn allows me to make money to live in a nice house, to have nice things, to eat warm food, etc.I cherish most a blanket my father gave me when I was about 10. It is thick wool and ugly. I think it was a European military blanket. It is fraying and old but it keeps me warm.
I was sick and my mom called my dad telling him I was ill (pnemonia) and could be bring a blanket because I was getting the chills at times but very hot at others. He didn't just go and buy a heavy blanket like my mom asked him too. He went around and went from shop to shop to shop and finally found it at an army surplus store. He brought it home and I was in a hot phase when he came in. He washed it very quickly and dunked in a bottle of cologne with it. Then dried it and by then I was chilled again and he covered me in it.
I still remember it. I have had it on my bed for the last 9 years.
It is not he material value but the sentimental value that holds me.my blanket that my aunt made me. Its so old and worn, its see thru. My cat loved it too and when I had to put him to sleep when he was 19, I cut it in half and had him cremated with half of it. I sleep with the other half under my pillow every night. I know, I know, I'm 26 and still have a blankie :)besides my wedding ring....it is a diamond pendant my mother had made for me out of my dad's ring....he passed unexpectedly in 2000..he had a ring that had 7 diamonds in it...when he passed my mom had that ring made into 7 diamond pendants for the women in his life...me, my sis, his 2 sisters, granddaughter, his mom and my mom....my computermy house... my first house which i still own. i bought it at AGE 19 to show all of those people who said i couldnt do it. to show i worked hard for someting, to show that i could take something that needed so much work and turn it into something beautiful (and i did). i have had good and bad times in it.Can it be objects? I love my books. When I am sad or not right at mind I read a book and I feel better "traveling into a new and interesting world". I don't know what this world would be without booksMy big boy down belowI cherish the photos of my children the most. When I had a house fire, the photos I lost were the objects I was most upset about losing. I can't decide whichMy car. It was really the first thing I bought without the help of my Dad. I worked to save up the down payment, and make my own monthly payments. IT kinds was what established me as a financially independant person. Second runner up is my Louis Vuitton my handbag collection. Each one just makes me feel like a woman :-)My Fender 12 string acoustic guitar, which has been nearby to me for the longest time of anything else in my life, people included. With respect to my dear old Mum, timewise, of course, but she hasn't been under my bed for the past 24 years!!

Though I do not pick it up and read it every day like I should I know it is there and I know the answers I need are within it when I need them. The inanimate material possession which I most cherish is my computer which, to me, is my portal to the world! But my absolutely most precious possession is my cat Shelby; she is real and furry, intelligent, and clever, and loves me, too!my cell phone...

=)Photographs throughout my life. They document all the phases I have gone through. My children, family, friends, and places that I have been that I love. They are priceless to me and I would be sad if I lost them. That's why I back up my photos. I have scanned the old originals and keep my digital photos online as well as on cd. :)my phoneMy Bible - it's the Word of God.My big Johnny Depp poster. :)I gave you a star on this one...good question.
