for some reason umlauts signs (å ä ö ü) doesn't show on my id3 tags anymore in xbmc, i'm using build from may7th right now.
any ideas?there was a fix for apev2 tags, maybe it did something with id3 tags... :shocked:http://www.creepwood.net/song.mp3upload a file snippet so we can see it. otherwise, you'll just have to wait and hope it's fixed.
there's plenty of free upload sites available if you want to use them, otherwise, upload it to www.xboxmediaplayer.it/upload
cheers,
jonathansoo, what now, bug report?well it has atleast a id3v1 and a id3v2 tag, both with ü in the tagi have another fix to go in (ape reading was rereading and prioritising id3v1 tags if the ape tag was blank) but other than that there was a fix earlier as well for ape tags only.
they all work fine on my machine at the moment. i suggest your files likely have apev2 tags in them (eg saved mp3gain data)
if you know they definitely don't have ape tags in them, then it'd help if you upload a file snippet (including the tags obviously!) for us to check out.
cheers,
jonathanjust thought i'd chip in here. i'm running the may 15 cvs (milkdrop is default) and umlauts show up in file view in my music, but not in library view... which seems kind of weird to me.i'm 99% sure that i don't have ape tags in my mp3. i use tag and rename to tag my mp3's and i add both id3v1 och id3v2.
how do we go from here?i updated to the new may13 build, the problem persists, it's weird because i went from the apr22 build to the may7 and that's when the problem begun i believe. not sure if it was because of an update.instead of umlauts i get like a square, space and anoter square for each umlaut. in default view in my music, i haven't scanned my music so not sure if it works in library mode.no need, shows fine in latest cvs.i dunno
should i found out?#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
