I want to get a tattoo on my left breast *first tattoo* and I don't know how much it will hurt. Im told I have a high tolerance with pain because it takes a lot for me to feel pain but I am scared of needles. I want a small set of three stars so its not a big tattoo but on a scale of 1=10 how much will it hurt. I'm also looking for personal experiences here not just hearsay storiesIt's not going to hurt.

Places where the tattoo is on bone - or close to bone, those hurt the worst.My first tattoo was a tattoo on my left breast....and I was 17 when I got it. It didnt hurt. On a scale of 1-10 it was about a 5.5...Honestly the coloring will be the most painful part...But Go For It....Heres a pic of my tattoo........http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w244/...For tattoos that small, don't' worry about the pain, it will be over before you know it, probably 15 minutes or so.
Typically, pain is worse where there is little or no fat to cover the bone. On your breast, you should be fine.
Don't worry about the needle-part. I don't particularly like needles either but tattoo work doesn't seem to trigger that feeling. The needles don't look like a blood needle either. They are very, very fine and come in bunches. A single needle is almost never used since it makes such a fine line, which may fade. Stay relaxed and don't sweat it. it will be very quick.The breast is mainly fatty tissue so it hurts very little maybe feels like a scratch. Depending on the size it shouldnt take to long. also depending on detail and color.Breasts=fat. And the more fat, the less pain. The most painful spots are your feet and in any pit, like your armpit or the back of the knee etc.I don't have anything against tattoos and its your body and your decision. Obviously you are the one who has to live with it. Even so, I have to say that tattoos on a woman's chest are just really unattractive.I don't know how much it will hurt on your breasts but trust me, just like child birth, it doesn't matter how pain tolerant you are. It doesn't hurt that bad but it does hurt. It is more of an irritating pain rather than a painful pain, hard to explain. I can't get a tattoo on my breast cuz I need them to nurse my baby!that's where i had my first tattoo done when i was 18 and i'm also scared of needles, but it wasn't that bad..i've gotten 3 more since. but, you have to remember that everyone's tolerance for pain is different. for me on a scale of 1 to 10 i'd say a 5 or 6, but the fact that my tattoo was small it was over pretty fast and it sounds like yours is small too. at first the pain is a slight shock, but then you get used to it and it's a weird pain that you can zone out. so no worries.my only suggestion is to really think through the placement of your tat and make sure that in 5 or 10 years you're gonna be cool with it on your breast. though i don't so much regret the tattoo i got, i do regret getting it on my breast because sometimes when i go to nice events and need to get dressed up i want to be able to look really pulled together and sophisticated or what not in my dress, but i feel like my tattoo really takes away from that, and that's all people see creating pre-conceived notions about me or my character... or when i'm just in a tank top or lower cut shirt i get more attention than i was ever prepared to deal with from grimey-*** dudes. if those are things that won't phase you go for it! good luck!1 word: EWWWPersonally, mine hurt bad! Even though it was on the fatty tissue which is "supposed" to hurt less, mine was painful. But now we are talking about a chest piece taking 3+ hours to finish. Yours will be done within a hour. Possibly even 30 minutes. It will hurt, but not so bad you won't be able to get through the session.YOUR BODY HAS DIFFERENT SENSITIVE SPOTS, SO SOME SPOTS WILL HURT MORE THEN OTHERS!!
