i'm experiencing a problem with the 05/07 buld. it appears that it no longer wants to play my one and only .ogg movie. i click and nothing happens. is anybody aware of this ?
thanks in advance.

a more common sense way to deal with it is to ask paplayer whether it can accept the file, and if not, to fire it back to mplayer (default player for all formats). this (unfortunately) means opening the file, querying whether it contains vorbis only (ie only audio) and thus making the conclusion.
alternatively, you can probably just rename it to *.ogm and it'll likely work.
and as kraqh3d notes, it appears you don't have the correct vorbisfile.dll in system/players/paplayer. the one you want is over 100kb.
cheers,

so, if you have an audio/video container with .ogg as the extension, it gets passed to the paplayer because it thinks its just audio.

i'm guessing this is to due with no codec? however, i haven't gotten rid of any codecs from the last build (april 12) and it played fine b4. or is it already built into the .conf? any help would be greatly appreciated.
however, i'm interesting in your "common sense" explanation. are you saying that this is the way that paplayer should and would communicate the handshake or is this an adjusment i should make somehow to create this relationship? if the latter, i can't even rightfully figure out how to open this .ogg but i know it has more than audio. it's an avi as well, with subtitles in the container.
i guess the vorbisfile i had in there was incorrect, being only 17k. i wonder why the person that compiled the build (ekb) would put that in there if it was the wrong file?
