Posted on Thursday 18 March 2010

  • Hello all, I am a high school kid who lives in Japan (On Base of course). Since I have been here I have fell in love with Japan....period. I am seriousely thinking about going to college here and maybe even starting a career here.

Since I am close to the largest city in the world aka Tokyo, I would like to know if anyone here knows of any good universities in the Tokyo area that allow/cater to foriegn students.

I don't know how fluent I will be in Japanese by time college rolls around, but I want to be prepared and see some options, Thanks guys!

  • I don't know of any, but you may as well start. I think there are some EJU centres in Tokyo, so get learning, take exams, and then you can get into University there.

These are all liberal arts colleges.
I recommend study in the home country for anyone interested in science and technology.

  • Yes I agree! I am enrooled in Japanese classes at school, but I also take ACS classeson the side, with addition to my self study. I have heard of a college named "Sofia" thaat catered to international students, anybody know of this unversity or any others? Thanks!
